The current dry and hot weather here during the fasting month finally took its toll on Amar!
Breaking fast with iced cool beverages (who wouldn't? huhu ...) almost everyday .... landed my dear Amar with 1st, a slight fever, then real fever, runny nose (at this point, Mama starts to worry ... ) and true enough, the dreaded coughs!!
Day 1 not going to school became 2, then 3 and finally ... Amar was absent from school the whole week!! (rending Mama to SMSes his teacher twice ... informing her of his predicament & at the same time praying that its just a cough related to cold and not asthma).
Alhamdulillah ... its not asthma!! A huge relief indeed! No iced cold beverages for him till the end of fasting month!!
On Sunday, Amar was fit enough to go to school .... and came back at the end of the day with bad news and worried looks!!!
"Mama! Monday till Wednesday ... EXAM!!!"
Boy! He really was worrried and went straight to 'ulangkaji' after iftar and prayer. Study non-stop for tomorrow's papers ... which were .... Maths, BM and Sivik.
Guess what!
Its back to school for Mama too ....
On helping Amar with his 'latih tubi' @ revision ... most of the time, Mama had to refer to the textbooks and took a while for some of the facts and formulas to sink ... before old and rusty Mama can help him when he doesn't understand something.
1 dekad, 1 abad ... Mama always confuse the two! 10 years and 100 years ... yg mana satu??? ... huhu
Today Maths (Paper 2), KH, Agama ... last nite and early this morning ... we drilled them as much as possible esp some topics that Amar misses during his 1 week absent!
Never seen him so serious about his exam before! Biasa ... so-and-so aja!?
Well, getting 1st the test before ... Mama thinks Amar feel presurred to do well and maintain his numero-uno!!
Wah! If that is so .... my Amar has grown-up! Fuyoo ....
Errmm! Let see ... Tomorrow will be Science and English!
OK! Got to go ... got some serious Year 4 revisions to do ...
Am thinking ...

remembered those days very well..bila anak anak exam,mak yang lebih buat ulangkaji..sometimes to the level of bertok guru dgn guru lain.All those are days gone by.How time flies. All the best to Amar.Jawab elok elok tau.Maintain numero uno always.
