The acts of doing the same thing over and over again, daily, routinely ... perfected the dentists, tailors, teachers, chefs ... u name it, perfected their professions. They seem to have everything at their fingertips ... Mama? I've yet to be a perfect mom ... am trying everday, my best ... thro' each one of my dearest sweethearts ... 6 of them ... how each differs in styles, moods, likes and dislikes, hobbies, characters ... but, differs they may ... Mama loves them all ... unconditionally!!! And showing them thro' foods is the best way Mama can thinks of ... tho' Mama is not a good and perfect cook, Alhamdulillah ... they always say mum's cooking is the best! (p.s. Mama tahu sometimes they lied, 'to take heart' ... hehe).
And pasta is not in Mama's favourite food to cook. Once, Mama cooked macaroni using recipe from one magazine ... upon my doter request (after one of her BBF brought one to school one day). Poor dear, she got mild (huhu) food poisoning soon after eating it. The others luckily escaped coz they came home quite late from school ... and Muaz was still a baby then. Since then, the sight of cooked macaronis terrified her ... huhu, sorry Kcik. Hope you got over it by now ... (-_-')
However, my sister, Anum ... is a genius with pastas, especially speghetti (that was liken by all her anak sedara) ... as easy as ABC. Hers was so simple ... plain ... yet, loved by everyone especially Muaz and Amar. Well .. living overseas for nearly 20 years must have perfected her pasta skills!! 'Practice makes perfect' case closed! hehe ...
Since the kids loved her speghetti sooo much, and Mama can't always imported her from her busy schedules and expensive plane trips ... (o_O), Mama decided to finally asked for her everloved pasta sauce recipe ... She'd e-mail it already, and Mama haven't try it yet ... but am sharing it coz it seems easy enough. Its a plain one and you can always add meatballs, chickens, sausages, veggies, cheese ... whatever ur heart/stomach desires ... easy cheesy for those who's always on the go ... sharing is caring kann ...
