Argghh!!, a black out, again!! That's twice this week alone.
Sigh!! ... where's the torchlight?? (groping sleepily in pitch darkness).
"Mama? Are you ok?" Muaz asked, whilst swiching on his HP's flashlight. He too, has heard Milo's distress meoowing.
We were suprised and quite shocked because he has not 'meowed' this loud since getting sick.
(Usually, we let Milo outside at night. But, for the past few days, Milo has been kept inside because he is not well. He was sleeping most of the time. He refused to play and eat very little. His nose is dry and there's a red patch surrounding his mouth. Plus, watery eyes, ocassional sneezing and shedding lots of furs. No more purring when I stroke him, and when the kids tried to play with, he just looked away and pretended to sleep! And of course we're very worried. Worse still, one neighbour said that two of her cats died and the remaining two are sick too.)
"What time is it?" I asked Muaz as he helped me light up the candles, and followed Milo to the kitchen."3.00 am Ma!" and Milo is prancing non-stop, to & fro, meowing loudly.
"Milo must be really hungry Ma!" Muaz commented as I prepared Milo's food.
Milo gobbled up a bowl of rice + fish and finished leftover beefburger at one go, and when Muaz stroke him, familiar purring sound greeted us.
Ahhh!! Both Muaz and I left out sighs of relief because we knew; Milo is back on the track!!
(At 6.00 am, Milo had another hearty breakfast and is now sleeping soundly, with a smile on his lip!! Hehe ... just made it up. Got to prepare his next meal 'cos he might wakes up any time soon. I think, like human, animals too crave for food upon recovering from sickess.)
Missed Milo chasing his tail!!
p.s: I gave Milo 1/4 part of Panadol, diluted in water & fed him through a syringe, morning & night.
