Our Birthdays, Anniversaries ...
Do we celebrate?
Fuss over it and wreck a havoc ... least its forgotten?
I doubt much about my other half ...
Who'd even forgotten his own birthday ... time after time
Much more mine!! Sigh ...
He, dear hubby ... Who have to be hinted
About that special 'date' that is looming near ...
Year after year
Of no avail ... that I give up, that one particular day!
I raised the white flag ... goodbye anniversaries, birthdays ...
Who cares
When out of the blue ... he whizzed out a gift or two
Take me out ... without the children knowledge (hihi)
Breakfast, lunch, tea ... for two
(p.s. dinner is always a family affair here .. ^_^)
As he wishes, when he pleases ...
I'm like ... 'I LIKE'
Its been like that for years ... that it bother us (me especially ...) no more
With ageing years ... way past 50's, fast approching 60's
Let it be ... qay sera sera ...
The birthdays, anniversaries ... his, mine, ours
As long as we are always together ...
Thro' sadness, sickness and pains
I wouldn't change him for this world
Much more spoiled our limited days together
(we're growing old dear ... )
Fussing ang sulking days over stupid forgotten birthdays and anniversaries
No more ... no more (hehe ...)
I just want to be with you as long as possible
Growing old gracefully, lovingly, contently together ...

p.s. this year, both of us were laughing at our forgotten anniversary ... (^__<)

Worry not over your other half. I am a man and am much older, and for that I know. We look forwards to our Golden insya Allah. The older, the more sentimental people are - realising how little time is available to care and love.
