Mom's eyes, is like a super duper radar, that can detect even the slightest change in her child ....
And yesterday, whilst Mama was wondering why my bubbly youngest son looked so weird n sullen ... his sudden question caught me offguard!
My oh! my ... he is asking me is it ok to like a girl!!!!!!!!!!
Errr!! Tarik nafas, jgn gelak, buat muka serius n tk kisah .... (-_-')
My silence prompted him to spell out the details of his new-found feeling!!
Wow (in my heart ... dah besar anak Mama ni, n suddenly feel like crying ...)
He was telling me that the girl like him b'cos ...
- "Amar lelaki pertama dlm kelas yg tiap2 hari siapkan homeworks yg cikgu beri!!"
HAHAHA ... almost choked on the words 'lelaki pertama' (but still maintain serious face).
- "Amar baik, tak bising, tak kacau girls, smart!"
p.s. Guys ... its that simple to win a girl's heart eh!!!
And ... he likes her b'cos, she is his age ... he is taller than her ... she's sweet!!
Boy oh! boy ... otak Mama overworked itself to find the proper answer ...
Mama cannot afford to belittle his feeling, and yet don't want to confuse it either, and at the same time ... my brain is sort of screaming "HE IS TOO YOUNG FOR THISS MAMA OIII ..."
So, neither encouraging nor discouraging ... Mama just said its ok to like a girl, to be friends!! Its much better and nicer that way ... and remind him to be an examplry good muslim young man ... InsyaAllah, good things will come later!!
Amar said he knows that. Quietly, without looking at Mama, he said, he'd wish he can meet the girl again when they left school .... lepas universiti ....
MasyaAllah .... Mama hopes I can guide him in the right paths, and that he will not stop telling me his worries and stories, even when Mama is old and Amar is all grown-up!!! Sedih pulak ...
