When you're past 60, having a Bucket Lists motivates you. But looking back, it also helps to list down your life achievements, the opposite of Bucket List. A reminder you did good.
.... the Reverse Bucket Lists!!
So here goes my life achievements prior age 60 (me choose to start from college life, because this is where I start having my 'target list').
1. Beat M, I, R (the top students in my class) and achieved a Dean's List.
2. Support my sibblings in their studies.
3. Became a Scrabble Champion at my office, have my name engraved on the championship trophy for that year, and beating the English speaking seniors was an accomplishment indeed. I was 24 then.
(p s. I'm from a Malay medium school but starts playing Scrabble at the age of 10 and read the Children's Encyclopedia at my English teacher's house. Later I started reading the dictionary 🤣, then move on to the Reader's Digest).
4. Received 'Anugerah Perkhidmatan Cemerlang' twice and bestowed a 'PKT' medal by the Sultan of Pahang in 1993. (Do your very best and honesty is my working policy).
5. Family comes first. Stopped working at the age of 37.
6. A Hajjah at the age of 44.
7. A mother-in-law at the age 50.
8. A grandmother at the age of 56.
9. A home in a good neighbourhood.
Guess, the above achievements are plausible enough for me. I'm a simple person, with simple needs.
A Bucket Lists?!!
Insyaallah ... 🤲💪😊
