Comes to think of it .... Mama can vouch that its very true!!!
Long distance couple ... especially old timers like Mama and hubby .... missed each other more.
How could we not!! We've celebrated our 31st Anniversary early this year ... and innocentlly (konon! ... knowing well that a govt servant can be transferred anytime regardless of age, economy, position, demographic ... bla bla bla), looking foward to spending the rest of our life in our 'one-year-old-own-house-finally' contently.
Well! Thank you so much for the 'u-know-who-people-with-power', transferring my hubby far-far-away to Putrajaya, when there's post in neighbouring states that are nearer!!! Doesn't age, long-services, family matters???!!! (again we knowingly pretend they care ... kena main golf baru masuk team kot!!!)
(p.s. the must-get-outta-chest intro .... what a relief!)
After only just a week at new workplace, hubby came home for a nearly 10 days stays (works, 'kursus' and leave .... add together), Yesterday, was like a cruel end to our family get together. By noon ... hubby draggingly travel back to P with his trusty 123 (with Mama praying for smooth and safe journey ... braething relief only after hubby called, he arrived safetly.Don't blame Mama for worrying coz the older you get, you tend to get sleepy the moment the hands touch the steering ... haha.)
Looking back ... its like a gift! A missing-you-gift. For both of us to be on our best behaviour (haha ...), to each other. Trying no to nag, 'lidah tergigit' (marriage couple petty quarrels). We became almost more responsible, polite, caring, loving, patient .... whatever .... trying our best to please each other.
Subconciously, Mama just want hubby to go back there with pleasant thoughts of his now limited time home. Hubby on the other hand, wants to see that everything safe and in order before he travels back there.
So ... we really are giving our best (unlike take-thing-for-granted before) ... for each other. Thats the only plus point of this long distance separation, of the time spend being away, that Mama can think of right now.
Alhamdulillah! Only He knows whats best for us .... Masya Allah.
Hubby dear,
Thank you for trying to do everything during the short time home. Don't worry yourself too much. We will be fine here. Muaz and Amar are keeping me company ... thats for sure. We will be alright .... Insya Allah. Just concentrate on your works there. Our prayers for you, us ... day and night ... until the next trip home. Which is another 4 more days?? Ya???!!!
p.s.s. N3 'jiwang' sekali sekala ... (^___^')
Things that happened in your life, sometimes you want to remember, share and learn from it. This is my way of saying " I've been here ..."

Salaam to you and family.
One of the great things about blogging is to be able to visit people and enjoy reading wast others have to write on topics that are close to our heart, and to be free to write to share your view. Here is a good example.
Only a few days ago I wrote about our golden anniversary. I expressed my thanks to Him who allowed us to see the day and to have enjoyed everything we need in life. You expressed beautifully how you feel after 30 years. Read your posting again in another 20 years and try to think whether you share Pakcik's sense of love for my life partner.
As I say I am free to express and share my feeling in a blog-sphere. You are at liberty not to publish my comments. You are free to visit my blog and see whether you can imagine feeling the way I feel when your time comes. Insya Allah you will be there, I pray.
In fact, if only I could find your address on your blog I would have sent a email to Congratulate you.
