Mama (actually Mama's computer savvy sis) started this blog way back in 2007. We were in Ipoh then. Alas .... after 2 entries, for no apparent reason, Mama stopped and totally forgot about it. Between 2007 - 2010, lots of things happened. But, things thats worth jogging down were safely captured in the ever faithful diaries and log books (they are my saviours in both happy and sad times. I poured my heart contents in them ... ). We also moved from Ipoh to Penang and back to our state Kelantan.
It was only during our stay in P.Mas did Mama began actively blogging again. Purely out of boredom ... and writing in diaries and log books not as interesting as blogging where you can draft, edit, links, post pictures, and choose whether to share it with the world or not. You can even categorise them under different labels if you wish. Mama was fascinated, captivated ... endured even when the internet/broadband fools around with you. Popping in and out as they wish ... choosing whether to be slow or fast ... most of the time SLOW! And sometimes do the dissappearing act (esp when Mama fails to pay on time ... huhu).
There are times, of course, that Mama wants to give up. Hang my towel and let it go, let it go ... I wonder why I bother to blog, spending time lugging over the PC (now the TAB), excitedly looking foward everyday to see how many visitors have visited my blog (thanks a zillion to those who had visited Mama's humble blog, left comments and whats not). You are the reason why I keep on blogging ... knowing that somewhere, out there, someone is reading them ... you all fuelled me to write more.
(p.s. for the first timer ever, fo the past few days, more that 100 visitors visited Mama's blog daily. For unknown blogger like Mama, it is indeed an accomplishment. Mama was sort of ... surprised, astound ... flabbergasted !!. ... really)
There are days, of course, when wanting to stop blogging, did cross Mama's mind. When writer's (blogger's) block came a visiting ... haha. But then, Mama looks back at the reason Mama started this blog in the first place ... is it not because ... "things that happend in your life, sometimes you want to remember, share and learn from it ..."???!!
So, Mama will persevere ... for Mama learned a lot too ... from my fellow bloggers. Sharing their happiness, grief, views and captured memories. Also, at my age, I am thankful I can still write and share a little of this and that around me. To give and take ... sincerely, honestly, ethically.
