Last week of schooling for 2014
Amar was extra extra quiet ... when his Ayah fetched him from school
The whole afternoon ... was spent in his room
Any mother would know something is not right
But Mama pretended and let him pour it out when he feels alright
True ... later in the evening, when nobody else in sight
Amar held out his record book, head down and a heavy sigh!
As Mama opened the book ....
He cupped his face and cried!
His shoulder heaved up and down
"Adik menyesal Mama. Adik minta maaf sebab hampakan Mama!"
Hmmm!! ....
1A 3B 1C .... no 12/34 ....
Mama thinking: not bad! His elder brothers did worse than him in their primary years but they fared well finally in their collage years! Learning from their many mistakes ....
That night, Amar got an earful from his Ayah!
Later his Ayah told Mama of Amar's promises
Mama? The pacifier for the umpteen times ...
A shoulder to lean on in time of sorrow
But with conditions ... of course!
I SHALL NOT REPEAT THE SAME MISTAKES !!
I SHALL LEARN FROM THEM ...
AND WITH THAT LESSON LEARNED ...
I SHALL MOVE ON A NEW AND MUCH STRONGER, WISER ... ME!
Insya Allah Adik. Insya Allah ....

I congratulate you on your philosophy in education. It has worked very well in my family - without straight A's in PMR and SPM. I can sit and say this with pride. So would you I am sure.
